All payments on the Electrofix online store are processed securely through Stripe, in pounds sterling (GBP). You can pay by card, digital wallet, Link , depending on the options shown at checkout.

The payment options shown at checkout may depend on your device, browser and order value. All orders, including local pickup orders, are paid online at checkout.
Currency and pricing
All prices on our website are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) and include any applicable VAT. Standard delivery within the United Kingdom is free, so the total shown at checkout is the full amount of your order, with no hidden fees or additional charges from Electrofix.
When you are charged
Payments by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Link are taken in full when you place your order.
Payment security
All payments are processed through Stripe, which is certified to PCI DSS Level 1, the highest level of security certification in the payments industry. Electrofix does not see or store your full card details. Apple Pay and Google Pay use secure tokens, so your actual card number is not shared with us. Our checkout is protected by SSL encryption.
Declined payments
If your payment is declined, your order will not be processed. Please check your payment details or contact your card issuer, then try again.
Fraud prevention
To protect our customers, orders may be subject to automated fraud checks by Stripe. We reserve the right to cancel any order that appears fraudulent or cannot be verified. If we cancel an order, any payment taken will be refunded in full to the original payment method.
Refunds
Approved refunds are always issued to the original payment method used for the order, as described in our Returns & Refunds Policy:
- Credit and debit cards: refunded to the card used.
- Apple Pay and Google Pay: refunded to the card linked to your wallet.
- Link: refunded to the payment method you used in Link.
Please allow 3–5 business days after we issue a refund for your bank or card provider to post it to your account.
